Getting here from Tyldesley

From Elliott Street in Tyldesley, drop down onto the A577 and join Atherleigh Way, or take the back way through Gin Pit and Astley Street if the main road is slow. Either route puts you on the Leigh ring road in around ten minutes, and Bradshawgate is signposted from there. Coming from Mosley Common or Shakerley, add three or four minutes.

The 582 bus runs Tyldesley to Leigh through Atherton, and Leigh bus station is two minutes on foot from the shop. Guided busway services from Tyldesley into Leigh also drop you within walking distance.

Landmarks to aim for

Once you are in Leigh, Spinning Gate is the marker. We sit on Bradshawgate near the town hall end. If you come in past Leigh Miners' ground and the market you are on the right side of town. Coming off Atherleigh Way, follow signs for the town centre rather than the Sports Village.

Use Spinning Gate multi storey if you want the shortest walk and no worrying about time limits. The streets running off Bradshawgate have free on street parking in the evening, which suits our late Thursday and Friday slots.
